MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441007846 A) filed by Jain, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 5, 2024, for 'automated plastic broom manufacturing device.'

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated plastic broom manufacturing device, comprises of a housing 1 developed to be positioned on a ground surface, a touch interactive display panel 2 installed with the housing 1 for providing input regarding a user-desired dimensions of a broom, an imaging unit 5 installed within the housing 1 to determine positioning of the bottle on the platform 7, a motorized clamping unit 6 integrated on the platform 7 to acquire a grip on the bottle, a heating unit integrated with the unit 10 to heat the strip in order to mold structure of the strip into cylindrical shape, a motorized scissor 11 assembled within the housing 1 to cut the length of strip in order to prepare bristles for the broom, and a hammering unit 14 integrated within the housing 1 for providing thumping movement to the nails in order to properly affix the bristles with the sticks."
