MUMBAI, India, Oct. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411023093 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 24, 2024, for 'automated planters relocating device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated planters relocating device, comprising a housing 1 positioned over a ground surface by means of plurality of motorized omnidirectional wheels 2 for moving housing 1, a touch interactive display panel to enable a user to provide input regarding a location up to which plurality of planters positioned, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 3 for capturing and processing images of surroundings, a pair of telescopic rods 4 to extend and position a plate 6 configured with the rods 4 in proximity to the planters, a motorized ball and socket joint 5 to provide rotation to the rods 4, a motorized sliding units 7 provide translation for providing plurality of bars 8, plurality of motorized hinge joints 9 to regulate shape of the bars 8, plurality of motorized rollers 10 for rotating in clockwise and anticlockwise direction to aid in engagement and disengagement of the planters."
