According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated plant sowing device, comprising a platform 1 positioned on an agricultural field, a chamber 2 stored with multiple plants, a touch enabled screen 3 accessed by a user to feed details to initiate sowing along with distance between two rows, four omnidirectional wheels 4 moves the platform 1 constantly, two telescopically operated rods 5 extends and positions a sieve 6 on field surface to collect soil on sieve 6, two hinges 7 configured between rods 5 and platform 1 for orienting sieve 6, a vibrating unit 8 generates vibrational sensations for sieving soil to separate pebbles, a plate 9 equipped five extendable cylindrical members 10 which are adjusted by a motorized slider 11, a camera 12 detects length of plants, an L-shaped telescopically operated rod 13 extends/retracts continuously for carving cavities in field, and a gripper 14 installed on platform 1 for sowing plants within cavities."
