MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521109744 A) filed by Gokul Global University, Patan, Gujarat, on Nov. 11, 2025, for 'automated plant management device.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Chetansinh Vaghela.

The application for the patent was published on Dec. 12, under issue no. 50/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated plant management device, comprising a X-shaped frame 1 positioned over a ground surface and around a plant, plurality of telescopic rods 2 support frame 1 over surface, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit determines dimensions of plant and accordingly actuates rods 2 to extend, plurality of motorized drawer provide extension to frame 1 for accommodating plant, a motorized wheel 3 provides translation to rods 2 over surface, a weather module monitors weather conditions in surroundings, and plurality of motorized rollers 4 wrapped with waterproof sheet and installed over frame 1, to rotate on axis for deploying sheet over around frame 1 to prevent plant from snowfall and rainfall."
