According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Automated Pharmacy Assistant Robot with Guided Navigation and Integrated Lifting, Gripping, and Storage System Abstract The present invention discloses an automated pharmacy assistant robot (PHARMAMATE) designed for efficient medicine retrieval, handling, and dispensing in pharmacy environments. The system comprises a mobile robot base (01) integrated with a navigation unit (02) for predefined path movement, a control and processing unit (10) for coordinated operation, and a battery pack (03) for power supply. A lead screw-based lifting mechanism (04), driven by a motor (05), facilitates precise vertical positioning of a lifting table (06) carrying a gripping mechanism (07) for retrieving medicine boxes (09). The retrieved items are stored in an onboard multi-row and multi-column storage module (08) for organized handling and delivery. The system may further include a wireless inventory synchronization module (117) for real-time stock updates. The integrated operation enhances dispensing accuracy, reduces manual effort, and improves workflow efficiency in pharmacy automation systems."
