MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411018820 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 14, 2024, for 'automated pattern imprinting device.'

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated pattern imprinting device, comprises of a platform 1 configured with multiple supporting legs 2 developed to be positioned on a ground surface, a pair of inverted L-shaped members 3 for enabling a user to attach a spool wrapped with sheet, a ball bearing arrangement 4 for smooth unwrapping of the sheet, a sliding arrangement 5 for positioning the L-shaped members 3 with respect to the length of the spool, a touch interactive display panel 6 to input details regarding the pattern, a pair of clamping units 7 for positioning the end portion of the sheet in between a first and second roller (8, 9), a metallic grid for imposing the user specified pattern on the first roller 8, a motorized slider 12 for translating a motorized cutter 11 for cutting the sheet, and a holding frame 13 for providing stability while pressing the sheet."
