MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411020115 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on March 18, 2024, for 'automated parking device for four wheeler.'

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated parking device for four wheeler, comprising an inverted V-shaped frame 1 positioned beneath a four-wheeler that is to be supported, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 2 installed over the frame 1 to determine dimensions of the chassis of the four wheeler, a motorized expandable clamp 3 installed over the frame 1 to expand in accordance with the detected dimensions, a microphone 4 installed over the frame 1 to receive voice command of a user, a pair of plates 5 installed with the frame 1 and integrated with plurality of motorized hinge joints to provide rotation to the frame 1 in view of removing the four-wheeler from parking stand and an electromagnetic spring 6 configured with rubberized member 7 installed with the frame 1 to get energized to expand in view of positioning a rubberized member 7 in contact with the surface to absorb the impact."
