MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411020126 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on March 18, 2024, for 'automated paint drying device.'

Inventor(s) include Anu Kumar.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated paint drying device, comprising a cuboidal body 1 positioned over a ground surface in proximity to a freshly painted wall that is to be dried, a touch interactive display panel 2 installed over the body 1 to enable a user to provide input regrading drying of the wall, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 3 installed over the body 1 to determine dimension of the wall and an inverted L-shaped telescopic rod 4 installed over the body 1 to position a plate 5 having plurality of heating element configured with the rod 4 in proximity to a portion of the wall at a pre-defined distance to produce heat in view of drying the wall."
