MUMBAI, India, Feb. 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521133806 A) filed by Marwadi University, Rajkot, Gujarat, on Dec. 30, 2025, for 'automated organic-waste paper production system.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated organic-waste paper production system, comprises of a framework 101 supporting a multi-sectioned storage chamber 103 for different plant-based organic waste materials, an input means for receiving user specifications for paper type, a cleaning chamber 104 for processing the dispensed waste, a blending chamber 109 for preliminary shredding and moisture monitoring, a slurry-preparation chamber 112 with mixing and temperature regulation capabilities, a slurry-storage unit 114 for controlled dispensing into molds, a drying chamber 120 for uniform desiccation of formed paper sheets, a handling means for automated removal of dried sheets, a final storage unit 125 with coiling and sterilization features, and an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 129 for monitoring each processing stage, detecting anomalies, and providing real-time feedback to ensure effective recycling and high-quality paper production."
