MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411023564 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 25, 2024, for 'automated nose thinning device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Princy Purwar; and Dr. Lakshmi Narayan Singh.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated nose thinning device comprises a curved plate 1 configured with plurality of suction cups 2 arranged over inner periphery of the plate 1 to affix the plate 1 with the nose bridge, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 3 installed over the plate 1 determines dimensions of the nose, an extendable rod 4 configured with each end of the plate 1 to extend in view of positioning plurality of motorized rollers 5 configured with each of the rods 4 around dorsum of the nose, a bioimpedance sensor installed in one of the rollers 5 to monitor condition of skin of the user's nose, a multi-sectioned chamber 7 arranged over the plate 1 and stored with various types of serums, and an electronic nozzle 8 installed with the chamber 7 and connected with the chamber 7 to dispense the specific serum over the nose."
