MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441007249 A) filed by Jain, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 2, 2024, for 'automated metallic roof construction device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A automated metallic roof construction device includes a body 1 arranged with a display panel 2 for providing dimensions of roof to be constructed, accordingly a lid 4 integrated on each section 5 of chamber 3 opens, an pusher 6 integrated within each section 5 pushes a sheet out from chamber 3, an imaging unit 7 determines thickness of dispensed sheet, multiple rods 9 extends for positioning attached rollers 8 in contact with sheet for straighten/curve sheet, multiple pressure sensors integrated on rollers 8 for monitoring pressure applied by rollers 8 on sheet, accordingly extension/retraction of rods 9 is regulated, a crane 10 integrated with a gripper 11 grips and aligns sheets as per user-specified dimensions of roof, a bar 13 extends to position member 12 on joint between sheets, two rolling wheels 14 integrated on member 12 pressure weld joints to construct roof."
