MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411020767 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 19, 2024, for 'automated lip care product manufacturing device.'

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated lip care product manufacturing device, comprising a housing 1 installed on a ground surface, plurality of chambers 3 to stored different ingredients, a touch enabled screen 2 enabling a user to give input commands regarding number of tubes of a lip care product to be manufactured, an electronic valve to open for dispensing determined amount of ingredients, a vessel 5 for mixing the ingredients to obtain the lip care product, a chamber 7 for storing the empty tubes, a telescopically operated gripper for gripping user-defined number of tubes, an imaging unit 10 for detecting presence of tubes, a conveyer 6 to translate and position the tubes underneath the vessel 5, an electronic nozzle for filling lip care product in tubes, a robotic arm 8 to grip and fasten caps on tubes, an IR (Infrared) counter for counting number of tubes collected on tray 9."
