MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441007323 A) filed by Jain, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 2, 2024, for 'automated light bulb holding device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated light bulb holding device, comprising a circular frame 1 having a pair of semi-circular plate 2 interconnected via a hinge joint 8 which is held by a user on a top portion of a bulb holder by closing plates 2, a touch sensor installed on frame 1 for detecting closing of plates 2, an electromagnetic latch for magnetizing/demagnetizing to secure frame 1 on holder, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 3 installed on frame 1 to determine presence of user, a LED light panel 4 for illuminating light to assist user to reach a switch that controls operation of bulb, a LDR assembled on frame 1 for detecting intensity of light, a vacuum based cleaning unit 5 for cleaning dust particles from bulb, a moisture sensor for detecting presence of moisture on bulb, and an air blower 6 arranged on frame 1 for drying bulb."
