MUMBAI, India, Jan. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511105060 A) filed by Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur, Rajasthan, on Oct. 30, 2025, for 'automated leaf spring eye pin manufacturing device.'

Inventor(s) include Ganesh Kumar Kantak.

The application for the patent was published on Dec. 12, under issue no. 50/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated leaf spring eye pin manufacturing device comprising a platform 101 with a plurality of rods 102 to be fixed on surface, a touch interactive display panel 103 for input command for making eye pins, a primary robotic gripper 104 to engage rebar with holding unit 106 to hold rebar, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 107 to detect successful holding of rebar, a motorized cutting unit 108 for cutting rebar into pieces, a heating unit to heat rebar pieces, a secondary robotic gripper 111 to engage heated piece into die 112, a motorized iris lid 113 to open/close for engagement of piece in die 112, a hydraulically operated pressing unit 115 to create pin head, a motorized chuck 116 to rotate pin, a cutting tool 117 for removing extra material and a threading tool 119 to create threads on pin."
