According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated lane markings cleaning device, comprising a platform 1 positioned on a ground surface in proximity to a lane marking of a road, plurality of motorized wheels 2 for moving platform 1, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 3 determines distance of lane marking from platform 1, a telescopically operated L-shaped rod 4 extends/retracts for positioning a wedge shaped plate 5 in proximity to lane marking, a motorized hinge joint 6 provides movement to plate 5 for scraping out paint on marking which is collected in a hollow cylindrical member 7, a dust sensor detects deposition of dust, a telescopically operated L-shaped pole 9 positions a bar 10 on deposited dust to position plurality of rotatable brushes 11 for removing deposited dust, and plurality of electronically controlled nozzles 12 for rinsing lane marking."
