MUMBAI, India, Oct. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411023471 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 25, 2024, for 'automated ladder relocating device.'

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 24, under issue no. 43/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated ladder relocating device comprises of a platform 1 positioned over a ground surface in proximity to a ladder that is to be relocated, a pair of motorized track wheels 3 are arranged beneath the platform 1 to provide translation to the platform 1 over the surface as per requirement, a touch interactive display panel 2 arranged over the platform 1 to enable a user to provide input regrading relocation of the ladder along with location upto which the ladder is to be relocated and positioned, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 4 arranged over the platform 1 to determine dimensions of the ladder and accordingly actuates the wheels 3 to position the platform 1 in proximity to middle portion of the ladder and a laser sensor arranged over the platform 1 to monitor dimension of side rail of the ladder."
