MUMBAI, India, Nov. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411025418 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on March 28, 2024, for 'automated lactoderm processing device.'

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 7, under issue no. 45/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated lactoderm processing device, comprises of, a housing 1 positioned on a ground surface and installed with a chamber 7 stored with milk, a touch enabled screen 2 to give input commands regarding an amount of lactoderm and different ingredients, an electronic valve 13 to open for dispensing determined amount of the milk in a hemispherical container 10, a heating unit to heat the container 10 to boil the milk, an imaging unit 6 for detecting presence of a lactoderm on the top surface of milk, a motorized clipper 11 for gripping lactoderm, a motorized slider 12 for translating and aligning the clipper 11 over a vessel 3, a motorized stirrer 5 for mixing the lactoderm with the ingredient, and a speaker 9 for notifying the user to collect the processed lactoderm."
