MUMBAI, India, April 20 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441078344 A) filed by Jain, Jain Global Campus, Jakkasandra Post, Kanakapura /00, oad, Kanakapura Taluk, Ramnagar District, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Oct. 15, 2024, for 'automated jaggery production device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated jaggery production device, comprises of a pair of robotic arms 2 installed inside the body 1 for gripping multiple sugarcane stalks, a pair of motorized rollers 4 arranged inside the body 1 for accommodated stalks, a container 5 arranged underneath rollers for collecting juice, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 6 installed inside the body 1 for capturing and processing images of the body 1, a heating unit 7 installed at the container 5 to heat the juice, a telescopically operated link 8 arranged inside the container 5 for removing the froth, plurality of electromagnets 9 integrated on the container 5 to disengage one end of the container 5, a multi-sectioned vessel arranged at the body 1 for accommodating dispensed juice, a vibrating unit integrated on the vessel to produce vibrating sensation, a speaker 10 integrated on the body 1 to produce audio notification to collect the solidified juice."
