MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411010039 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on Feb. 14, 2024, for 'automated irrigation pipe storage assistive device.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Kuldeep Yadav.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated irrigation pipe storage assistive device, comprising a frame 1 having a first and second end developed to be positioned on a ground surface,, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 3 installed on first end and to determine positioning of an irrigation pipe over surface, a pair of horizontal bars 8 arranged at second end in a manner that pipe is passed in between bars 8 while pipe reaches first end, a laser measurement sensor is integrated on second end for monitoring thickness of pipe, multiple electronically controlled nozzles 10 integrated on bars 8 to spray pressurized water onto pipe to clean pipe while being wrapped and a pair of air blowers 12 to blow air towards pipe passing through bars 8 for drying water on pipe while pipe is being wrapped on roller 6."
