MUMBAI, India, May 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611023740 A) filed by Vivekananda Institute Of Professional Studies - Technical Campus, New Delhi, on Feb. 27, for 'automated identity verification device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated identity verification device, comprises of a mobile body 101 having a plurality of omnidirectional wheels 102 to navigate within a citizen's residence, a document analysis module comprising an OCR scanner 103 to extract personal data from an identification document provided by the citizen, a behavioral sensing module to observe responses during the cross-examination and calculate a trust score, comprising an AI camera 104 to track facial movements and eye behavior of the citizen, one or more acoustic transducers to analyze speech patterns and voice stress, a user interaction panel 105 to place their hand over the panel 105 to monitor muscle activity and skin conductivity, a LiDAR module to monitor a chest movement of the citizen and an image-capturing arrangement comprising a mechanical linkage 106 and a retractable background plate 107, to control the image-capturing arrangement to capture an image of an unregistered citizen."
