MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411017929 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 12, 2024, for 'automated ice cream vending device.'

Inventor(s) include Ramesh Chandra Tripathi.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated ice cream vending device, comprising a cuboidal body 1 configured with multiple rods 2 that provides support to body 1 on a ground surface, multiple cylindrical shaped chambers 4 for storing ice creams of different flavors, a rectangular plate 6 having multiple conical shaped members 7 for accommodating ice cream cones of different sizes, an expandable pulley arrangement 8 to increase or decrease diameter of members 7 thereby successfully accommodating ice cream cones, a touch interactive display panel 9 enabling user to input details regarding a type of ice cream that desires to eat for actuating a circular shaped sliding arrangement 10 for providing movement to plate 6 in positioning an appropriate sized cone under an electronic valve 11 for dispensing user specified type of ice cream, a motorized roller 12 rotating to unwind a napkin for actuating telescopically operated clippers 13 for gripping free end."
