MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511117034 A) filed by Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur, Rajasthan, on Nov. 25, 2025, for 'automated ice blocks transportation device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated ice blocks transportation device, comprises of a structural chassis 101 configured to traverse farm terrains, a pair of continuous tracks 102 driven by rotary wheels for movement over varied surfaces, a supporting platform 103 carries ice blocks, with a motorized conveyor belt 104 for transporting them, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 105 detects type and dimensions, a pair of elongated arms 106 affixed to front section of chassis 101 enables controlled stacking of ice blocks over a plate 107 for optimal loading, a pair of L-shaped telescopic rods 108 support ice blocks, each with a sharp pin 109 to penetrate the surface, a pair of circular hollow disks 110 via a structural links 111 embedded with an air-inflating drum 112, powered by an air-inflating unit 113, ensure flotation, a pivot joint 114 aligns pin 109 alignment, while a heating unit 115 and vibrating unit 116 prevent refreezing."
