MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411020041 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 18, 2024, for 'automated hose pipe positioning device.'
Inventor(s) include Aniket Kumar; Anil Kumar; R. P. Agarwal; and Vinit Vishnoi.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated hose pipe positioning device includes a frame 1 positioned over a ground and configured with multiple U-shaped members 2 linked with each other via motorized slider crank arrangement 3, user places pipe over member 2, an camera 4 mounted to capture multiple images of surroundings, a screen 5 to allow a user to select a pathway within an area from images illustrated over screen 5, over which pipe is to be positioned, multiple wheels 6 to move members 2 over pathway, a crane arrangement 7 configured within each of members 2 to regulate height of pipe as per user's requirement, a flex sensor to detect bending of pipe and accordingly activate multiple rollers 8 fabricated at inner periphery of each of members 2 to rotate on axis for straightening of pipe."
