MUMBAI, India, Oct. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411026622 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 30, 2024, for 'automated hose pipe coiling device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated hose pipe coiling device, comprising a frame 1 installed on a ground surface, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 2 arranged on the frame 1 to determine positioning of a hose pipe present in proximity to the frame 1, a pair of motorized grippers 3 mounted on the frame 1 to acquire a grip on the frame 1 for inserting the pipe in between the first rollers, a pair of motorized first rollers 4 mounted on the frame 1 to pass the pipe through the first rollers 4, a panel arranged on the frame 1 in proximity to the first rollers 4 and arranged with multiple electronically controlled nozzles 6 dispenses water on the pipe, a robotic arm 8 arranged on the frame 1 grips the pipe passing through the first rollers, and a motorized second roller 9 coils the clean pipe."
