MUMBAI, India, Oct. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411022383 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on March 22, 2024, for 'automated horse shoe installation device.'

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 24, under issue no. 43/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated horse shoe installation device, comprising a cuboidal body 1 positioned on a ground surface, a U-shaped member 2 via a rod 3 to pass foot of the horse, a microphone 4 for enabling the user to give voice commands, a motorized roller 5 facilitates rotation for wrapping strap 6, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 7 for capturing multiple images of surroundings, a first robotic arm 8 equipped with a blade 9 for cutting hoof of horse, a second robotic arm 10 equipped with a filler for eliminating unevenness, an electronic sprayer 12 connected with a chamber 13 for dispensing water, a primary telescopically operated gripper 14, gripping a horse shoe from a container 15, a secondary telescopically operated gripper 16 for gripping iron nails, an L-shaped telescopically operated rod 17 with a hammer 18 for hammering the nail in view of fixing shoe with horse's foot."
