MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411018183 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 13, 2024, for 'automated hole carving device for wall.'
Inventor(s) include Ashendra Kumar Saxena.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated hole carving device for wall, comprising a housing 1 installed with a touch enabled screen 3 for enabling a user to give input commands for carving a hole on a wall, a camera 4 captures multiple images of walls which are displayed over screen 3 to allow user to select location and dimensions of hole, a circular motorized disc 5 positioned near location by a L-shaped telescopically operated rod 6, two pins 7 installed with disc 5 which are tilted close to each other by a pair of tilting arrangements 8 and followed by actuation of disc 5 to rotate for carving hole in the wall, a tactile sensor detects hardness of wall, and based on detected hardness a Peltier unit coupled with each of pins 7 heats pins 7 in view of facilitating carving of hole."
