MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411018833 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 14, 2024, for 'automated henna applying device.'
Inventor(s) include Rahul Vishnoi.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated henna applying device, comprising a cuboidal body 1 positioned on a fixed surface, a touch enabled screen 4 enabling user to select design of henna to be applied on user's hand, a camera 5 detecting exact location of user's hand on platform 3, a pair of electronic sprayers 7 for spraying solution on user's hand, a chamber 17 stored with strips carved with different designs for actuating a telescopically operated gripper 8 for gripping one of strips of user-selected design from chamber, a pair of motorized sliders 11 for translating rods 10 for evenly adhering strip on user's hand, an electronic nozzle 12 providing a suitable bi-directional motion to nozzle 12 for dispensing henna over entire strip applied over user's hand and a set of air blowers 15 for blowing air on user's hand in view of drying applied henna on user's hand."
