MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024080 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 26, 2024, for 'automated handle assembling device.'

Inventor(s) include Rajesh Prasad Jayaswal; and Dr. Virender Kumar Mehla.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated handle assembling device, comprising a platform 1 positioned on a fixed surface via a suction cups 2, an imaging unit 3 is installed on the to determine dimensions of the bucket, a frame 4 mounted on the platform 1 for casing an inverted U-shaped member 5, a robotic arm 10 integrated on the platform 1 to grip a metallic strip stored in a chamber 9 arranged on the platform 1 for positioning the strip, a pair of clippers 6 arranged on the member 5 for holding ends of the wire in view of, plurality of bars 7 integrated in the member 5 to extend/retract for attaining a suitable curvature of the handle, a pair of robotic grippers 8 arranged on lateral ends of the frame 4 for fixing the wire on hooks of bucket to join the handle in bucket."
