MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531019188 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on March 4, for 'automated groove cutting and hydronic tubing laying device.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Binod Kumar Sahu.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated groove cutting and hydronic tubing laying device, comprising a body 101 developed to be positioned on a ground surface, pair of treads 102 provide movement to the body 101 over the surface, an imaging unit 103 for capturing images in vicinity of the body 101 to generate a 3-dimensional mapping of surroundings of the body 101, a display panel 104 for displaying the generated mapping and enabling a user to select a user-desired area where a hydronic tubing is to be laid, rotatable blades 105 arranged on the body 101 by means of a rod 106, in a radiating manner, a motorized roller 107 rotate for unwrapping/wrapping the tube, a robotic arm 108 acquiring a grip of the tube for placing the tubes in the carved groove and a hammer 110 provide a thumping movement over the tube thereby laying the hydronic tubing on the surface."
