MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531019817 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on March 5, for 'automated groove carving and cable installation device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated groove carving and cable installation device, comprising a body 101 positioned on a ground surface through plurality of wheels 102 arranged underneath to move body 101 over surface, an imaging unit 103 integrated in body 101 to generate a 3D map of wall, that is displayed on a touch interactive display panel 104 installed on body 101 and enables a user to select an area where grooved pattern is to be carved, a rectangular frame 105 arranged with body 101 via a pair of extendable rods 106 for positioning frame 105 over selected area, a cutter 107 installed in between frame 105 utilizing a lead screw arrangement 108 to attain user-desired grooved pattern on wall, a motorized roller 109 coiled with a cable arranged with body 101 to rotate for unwrapping cable gripped by a robotic arm 110 mounted on body 101 for installing cable into grooved pattern."
