MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411018827 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 14, 2024, for 'automated greasy utensils cleaning device.'
Inventor(s) include Pavan Kumar Singh.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated greasy utensils cleaning device comprises of, a housing 1 installed with a platform 5 to be placed with greasy utensils, a touch enabled screen 2 to give input commands, a camera 3 for detecting exact location of utensil on the platform 5 and dimensions of the platform 5, multiple motorized hinges 6 via multiple curved-shaped members 4 for tilting and deploying specific members 4 in view of firmly gripping the utensils, an electronic nozzle 9 for dispensing the cleaning solutions, a motorized slider 11 for translating rod 8, a motorized brush 12 to rotate for scrubbing the utensils for removing the grease and stains from the utensils, and a telescopically operated bar 13 to extend for positioning the brush 12 in contact with the utensil, and a two-axis lead screw arrangement 14 for providing a motion to the brush 12 for scrubbing each of utensils."
