MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024040 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 26, 2024, for 'automated glass slab cleaning device.'
Inventor(s) include Narendra Kumar; and Dr. Neelam Kumari.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated glass slab cleaning device, comprising a platform 1 installed with a hexagonal-shaped structure 2 for accommodating a glass slab, a touch enabled screen 3 installed on the platform 1 for enabling a user to give input commands, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 4 mounted on the platform 1 for detecting shape and dimensions of the glass slab, pair of chambers 5 installed on the platform 1 for spraying a cleaning solution on the slab, a pair of brushes 6 installed with the platform 1 for scrubbing entire surface of the slab, a pair of vessels 7 installed on the platform 1 for dispensing water in view of rinsing the slab, a speaker 8 mounted on the platform 1 for notifying the user and a holographic projection unit 9 mounted on the platform 1 for projecting hologram to guide the user in positioning the slab within the structure 2."
