MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411019734 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 17, 2024, for 'automated glass sheets cleaning device.'

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated glass sheets cleaning device, comprising a housing 1 installed with multiple set of plates 2 that accommodates multiple glass sheets, a touch enabled screen 3 for enabling a user to give input, a confocal sensor for detecting thickness of the sheets, a motorized slider 4 for translating the plates 2 to grip the sheets, a camera 5 for detecting dimension of the sheets, a motorized clamp 6 for gripping the sheets, a gear-slider arrangement 8 for transferring sheets inside a chamber 9, an electronic nozzle 10 attached with a vessel 11 for dispensing cleaning solution, a pair of rectangular members 12 to scrub the sheets via multiple pneumatic bristles, an electronic valve 14 attached with a receptacle 15 for dispensing water on the sheets, a hot air blower 16 drying the sheets, and a speaker 17 for notifying the user to collect the sheets."
