MUMBAI, India, Nov. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411025440 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on March 28, 2024, for 'automated glass replacement device for seven-seater.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated glass replacement device for seven-seater, comprising, a body 1 developed to be positioned on a ground surface, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 2 installed on the body 1 for capturing multiple images in vicinity of the body 1, to determine positioning of a permanent glass of a seven-seater, a hydraulically operated L-shaped rod 3 mounted on the body 1 for positioning a disc 4 integrated on the rod 3 parallel to the glass, multiple extendable links 5 are integrated on a disc 4 for positioning a suction unit 6 integrated on each of the links 5 on the glass, a motorized first gripper 8 installed on the platform to extend for positioning a chisel 7 integrated on the first gripper 8 over detected clots."
