MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441007267 A) filed by Jain, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 2, 2024, for 'automated fruit moulding device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated fruit moulding device, comprising a body 1 having a first and second portion 2, 3 for accommodating fruit, a user closes body 1 by positioning second portion 3 over fruit, a touch sensor 4 detecting closing of body 1 for energizing an electromagnetic strip 6 to magnetize for locking body 1, a touch interactive display panel 7 input details regarding shape of fruit that user desires to mould that is processed by microcontroller for inflating inflatable member 8 for providing shaped to body 1 that results in shaping of fruit while growing, a LDR (Light Dependent Resistor) detecting intensity of light for illuminating LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes) 9 for allowing plant to perform a photosynthesis, and a sensing module detecting ripeness of fruit along with infection of fruit on disease for actuating a speaker 10 for generating voice alerts to notify user regarding mismatched ripeness and/or infection."
