MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531018758 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on March 3, for 'automated footwear covering device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Tanmoy Parida.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated footwear covering device, comprises of a hollow cuboidal body 101 developed to be positioned on a floor surface by means of plurality of suction cups 102 attached underneath body 101, a motorized slidable lid 103 configured on top portion of body 101 to allow the user to insert foot worn with footwear in the body 101, a boot shaped member 104 stored with plurality of footwear cover in a stacked manner, provided in body 101 to accommodate foot of user, plurality of motorized clippers 201 integrated base of member 104 to clip a mouth portion cover, plurality of electronically operated nozzle integrated in member 104 to release fragrance solution stored in a chamber housed in the body 101 to minimize unpleasant odor."
