MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441007816 A) filed by Jain, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 5, 2024, for 'automated foam sealant removal device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated foam sealant removal device, comprising a secondary platform 2 interconnected with each other via a scissor lift arrangement 3 and developed to be positioned on a ground surface within an enclosure, a touch enabled screen 4 is mounted on primary platform 1 that is accessed by a user for entering command regarding location from which foam sealant has to be removed, a camera 5 installed on primary platform 1 for capturing multiple images of surrounding of platform 1 to detect user-entered location, a first robotic link 7 mounted on primary platform 1 to position a motorized cutting blade 8 equipped with first robotic link 7 in contact with foam sealant and a second robotic link 9 assembled with a motorized grinding wheels 10 configured with primary platform 1 to grind surface for providing uniform surface and a suction unit 11 configured with secondary platform 1."
