MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411020773 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 19, 2024, for 'automated floor levelling device.'

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated floor levelling device, comprising a platform 1 positioned on a ground surface, a touch interactive display panel 2 enables a user to input specifications regarding a user-desired levelling of a floor, an imaging unit 3 determines distance of an uneven concrete floor, a multiple wheels 4 moves platform 1, a pair of telescopically rods 6 deploys circular disc 5 integrated with the rods 6, a crank and slider arrangement 9 rotates disc 5 for inducing reciprocating to and fro movement in poles 8, a tactile sensor determines hardness of floor, multiple telescopically operated pins 16 digs concrete floor, a robotic gripper 11 grips detected debris and collects in a container 12, multiple motorized iris lids 14 integrated underneath a plate 13 filled with soil/sand arranged on one end of platform 1 via a link 10 dispenses soil/sand on floor, a motorized roller 7 for even levelling of floor."
