MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411020664 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 19, 2024, for 'automated flat board transporting device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated flat board transporting device, comprising a platform 1 accessed by a user to place flat board desires to transport from one location to another, multiple motorized wheels 2 providing movement to platform 1, a weight sensor detecting placement of flat board on platform 1, multiple motorized clipping units 3 for gripping flat board, a laser sensor detecting dimensions of flat board for actuating multiple motorized hinge joints 4 integrated between multiple flaps 5 for deploying flaps 5 for securing of flat board, a touch interactive display panel 7 enabling user to input details regarding a location towards which user desires to transport flat board for actuating wheels 2 to transport flat board on user specified location, and an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 8 determines presence of obstacle proximity to platform 1 for actuating a speaker 9 for generating voice commands to notify user to remove obstacle."
