MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411006203 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Jan. 30, 2024, for 'automated fixed surface demolishing device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Vikas Gupta; Kamalinder Kaur; Amitabh Sharma; Ritu Chauhan; and Dr. Sanjeev Kumar.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 1, under issue no. 31/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated fixed surface demolishing device, comprising a platform 1 provides support to platform 1 on a surface that is required to be demolished, a touch interactive display panel 4 for enabling a user to input details regarding a portion of surface that is required to be demolished for actuating wheels 3 for translating platform 1 towards user specified portion, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 5 determines presence of debris pre-installed on roof portion and synchronously actuates a motorized cutting blade 6 for cutting debris into multiple pieces, a robotic gripper 7 gripping and removing debris from surface, and a first electromagnetic plate 8 magnetize or demagnetize in repetitive manner for pulling and releasing of a block 9 in upward and downward motion that aids in demolishing of surface."
