MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024054 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 26, 2024, for 'automated fire ceasing device for agricultural lands.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Kamal Pandey; and Dr. Sachin Gupta.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated fire ceasing device for agricultural lands, comprising a body 1 developed to be positioned on a ground surface, plurality of motorized wheels 2 for moving the body 1 up to a threshold distance from location coordinates, artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 3 for capturing multiple images in vicinity of the body 1 to determine presence of fire outbreak in proximity to the body 1, hydraulically operated L-shaped rods 4 to extend/retract for positioning a disc 5 over ground surface at the location, disc 5 to rotate for allowing multiple sharp edges augers 6 to dig a cavity on the surface, extendable curved conduit 7 to position the conduit 7 in proximity to vegetation/grasses, vacuum pump 8 for extracting uprooted vegetation/grasses from the surface, a water reservoir 9 integrated with multiple electronically controlled nozzles 10 to dispense water on heap of soil."
