MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531017990 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on Feb. 28, for 'automated fill shaping device.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Manoranjan Parhi.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated fill shaping device, comprises of a platform 101 developed to be positioned on a fixed surface, a pair of U-shaped holding unit 104 installed on the platform 101 to allow the user to attach a spool of a PVC sheet, a touch interactive display panel 105 to provide command for fill shaping of the sheet, a touch sensor to detect attachment of the spool on the holding units 104, an imaging unit 107 to detect free end of the sheet rolled over the spool, a pair of robotic gripper 108 to grip the end and insert in between a pair of calendar rollers 109 arranged on the platform 101 by means of a pair of supporting frame 110, and a motorized slider arrangement 111 integrated between shaft of the rollers 109 and the frames 110 for pressing between the protrusions and grooves, thereby performing fill shaping of the sheet."
