According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated fender repairing device, comprises of a platform 1 developed to be positioned on a ground surface, a holding slot 2 for accommodating a fender which is to be repaired, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 3 for capturing multiple images of the platform 1, a pair of water reservoirs 4 integrated with multiple electronically controlled nozzles 5 for dispensing pressurized water, a telescopically operated L-shaped rod 6 integrated with a motorized rotatable brush 7 for scrubbing the fender, plurality of welding torches of varying kinds for performing welding of the fender, a pair of robotic arms 8 for placing the electrodes and welding torches in the proximity of the defect, a telescopically operated L-shaped bar 10 for extending a grinding blade 9 and smoothen the welded portion, a multi-sectioned chamber 11 integrated with an electronically controlled nozzle 12 for dispensing colors on the fender."
