MUMBAI, India, Oct. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411026186 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 29, 2024, for 'automated false ceiling panel installation device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated false ceiling panel installation device comprises of an elongated telescopically operated frame 1 positioned on a ground surface within an enclosure and having a first end attached with a suction cup 2 for adhering the frame 1 on ground surface and a second end installed with an extendable platform 5 to accommodate a false ceiling panel, a microphone 3 to give voice commands for installing the panel with ceiling portion of the enclosure, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 11 for detecting dimensions of the panel, a drawer arrangement for extending/retracting the platform 5 for appropriately accommodate the panel, a pair of robotic arms 7 for gripping the panel in a secured manner, an electronic nozzle 10 for dispensing the adhesive solution, and a motorized slider 6 for translating the bar 8 around periphery of the platform 5."
