MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411018169 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 13, 2024, for 'automated fabric stitching device.'
Inventor(s) include Shambhu Bharadwaj.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated fabric stitching device comprises of a frame 1 multiple telescopic rods 2 developed to be positioned on a ground surface, a sewing unit 3 allowing a user to position a seat adjacent to the frame 1, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 4 determine height of the user while sitting on the seat for actuating telescopic rods 2 for positioning unit at suitable height, a touch interactive display panel 5 enabling the user to input details regarding a mode of the stitching operation for positioning plate 6 for activating unit, an angle sensor detecting alignment of the fabric for actuating speaker 7 for comfortably person sewing operation, and a pair of electromagnetic springs 8 for providing movement to the plate 6 in order to stitch fabric as desired by the user."
