MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411010072 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on Feb. 14, 2024, for 'automated eye makeup application device.'

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated eye makeup application device, comprising an elongated body 1 gripped by a user for applying eye-liner over user's eyelid, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 2 determine color of user's dress along with position of user's eyelid with respect to body 1, a speaker 3 produces audio notification regarding a recommended color of eyeliner as per user's dress, a microphone 4 receiving voice command of user regarding user-desired color of eyeliner, a multi-sectioned chamber 5 stored with eyeliner with an extendable link connector 7 integrated with motorized hinge joints 8 actuated by microcontroller for positioning connector 7 in proximity of user's eyelid, and an electronically controlled nozzle 9 configured with a brush 10 actuated by microcontroller for dispensing color over user's eyelid results in application of eyeliner."
