MUMBAI, India, Oct. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411026615 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 30, 2024, for 'automated drywall panels removal device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated drywall panels removal device, comprises of a platform 1 positioned on a ground surface within an enclosure having walls pre-installed with drywall panels, a touch screen 2 is installed on the platform 1 for enabling a user to give input commands, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 3 paired with a processor for capturing and processing multiple images of the wall, plurality of motorized omnidirectional wheels 5 configured underneath the platform 1 for maneuvering and positioning the platform 1, a wedge-shaped plate installed with the frame actuates a motorized hinge 7, a motorized hinge 7 configured between the link and plate for tilting and positioning the plate, a rectangular member installed with the frame for tilting the member, a pair of telescopically operated grippers 8 installed on the frame for gripping aid removed panel and transferring the panels to a chamber positioned on the platform 1."
