MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024671 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 27, 2024, for 'automated drawer fronts installation device.'
Inventor(s) include Payal Shrivastava; and Dr. Gaurav Bhardwaj.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated drawer fronts installation device, comprises of a platform 1 located on a ground surface within an enclosure and mounted with a plate 2, touch enabled screen 11, is mounted on the platform 1 for enabling a user to give input commands for affixing drawer fronts with cabinets, camera mounted on the plate 2 for capturing multiple images of the cabinets, multiple omnidirectional wheels 3 arranged below the platform 1 for manoeuvring the platform 1, scissor lift arrangement 4 arranged between the platform 1 and plate 2 for lifting and positioning the plate 2 at an optimum height, first robotic link 7 configured with an electric glue gun 8 for dispensing adhesive liquid over entire front portion of the cabinet and second robotic link 9 attached with a motorized screw driver 10 for positioning the screw driver 10 over vertices of the cabinet."
