MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411019325 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 15, 2024, for 'automated door security system.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Priyanka Tripathi.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated door security system comprises of a platform 1 developed to be installed at back side of a door 2 installed at entrance of an enclosure, multiple suction cups 3 for adhering said platform 1 on surface, a pair of plates 4 connected with each other by means of a motorized hinge joint 5 to form a V-shaped structure where pointed end of structure rests on back side of door 2 to apply a force for maintain closed state of door 2, an imaging unit 7 for detecting presence of any person in proximity to door 2, a database linked with an inbuilt microcontroller for storing data regarding facial features of known persons where microcontroller scrutinizes database for matching determined facial features with pre-stored facial features and multiple omnidirectional wheels 8 to move platform 1 towards a side of backside for allowing opening of door 2."
