MUMBAI, India, Nov. 21 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411025630 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 28, 2024, for 'automated disposable plate manufacturing assistive system.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated disposable plate manufacturing assistive system, comprising a framework 1 installed on a paper laminating machinery, a touch interactive display panel 2 enables a user to provide input regarding a user-desired disposable plates, an artificial intelligence-based imaging detects alignment of a roller coiled with paper and a winch coiled with lamination sheet, plurality of electromagnetic springs 4 configured with the roller and the winch aligns the roller and the winch, a robotic arm 6 grips die from the tray as per the user-specified disposable plate for arranging the die in cutting unit of the machinery, and a speaker 7 installed in the framework 1 to produce audio signals for notifying the user to collect the user-desired disposable plates."
